Scenic Estate Conservation Reserve

Information

The Scenic Estate Conservation Reserve is well known for its birdlife, providing habitat for six species of threatened birds and endangered grasslands and vegetation, as well as delightful bay views to Churchill Island, Rhyll and beyond. Don't forget to pack a picnic and take advantage of the picnic shelters and seats.

Bass Coast Shire Council worked with Phillip Island Nature Parks, Parks Victoria and the State Government to develop this 28-hectare site of natural bushland and on 1 July 2015, the reserve was opened for the community and visitors to explore. Enjoy the array of walks consisting of 1500 metres of walking tracks connecting the attractions and 195 metres of boardwalk through the native grasslands.
