Maru Koala and Animal Park have welcomed their newest koala joey, Nova and Rain!

Nova is named after the Eucalypt species, Eucalyptus nova-anglica, which is a type of peppermint gum leaf.

As the weather warms up, you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of these super cute joeys visiting Maru Koala and Animal Park this Spring / Summer!

Maru Koala and Animal Park allows you to interact with wildlife and offers a range of unique animal experiences, including feeding and meeting a koala, a dingo experience, and even a cassowary experience!

Koala Experiences:

🐨Koala Feeding Experience: Join Maru’s keepers as they provide fresh gum leaves for the koalas and learn about the species, their threats, conservation status and how you can help.

🐨Koala Experience: Meet and experience Australia’s unique and iconic koala! Get up close and learn from a keeper about the species, their threats, conservation status and how you can help.
You will have the opportunity to get close to each of the koalas and can take as many photos as you like to capture this special moment.

🐨Meet a Koala: This experience allows you to enter the koala habitat, observe them close up and feel the fur of one of them. Learn from their keepers about the species, their threats, conservation status, and how you can help them survive. Take unlimited photos on your own device and you also have the option to add on a professional photo in a take-home souvenir folder.

The park offers the opportunity to hand-feed a range of other Australian animals, including kangaroos and wallabies, including rare albino animals. Visitors can also see a range of animals, including dingoes, Tasmanian devils, wombats, quolls, a crocodile, and nocturnal and reptile houses. You can also meet the keepers at regular talks, including the Wildlife show in the auditorium.
