Annual Report 2022-23
Once again another busy year for the team at Destination Phillip Island. Here is an overview of the various activities that were delivered.
The Phillip Island and San Remo Visitor Economy Workforce Plan has been developed to attract and retain a workforce whose capabilities meet the needs of an evolving Phillip Island and San Remo visitor economy, whilst maximising the opportunities of the changing community economy.

In 2016, the Phillip Island and Sen Remo Visitor Economy Strategy 2035 set a vision for Phillip Island and San Remo to be recognised nationally and globally as a world leading sustainable tourism destination, where tourism is embraced by the community.
This strategy is currently being updated to develop a 10 year Destination Management Plan that will establish a critical strategic roadmap for the sustainable growth and development of the destination post-pandemic, while balancing the economic, social and environmental priorities of the region.
