Weekly Update 17 December 2020

Weekly Update

On behalf of the Destination Phillip Island Board and Staff we wish all our partners and colleagues a successful peak season and wonderful new year. We will all be glad to say goodbye to 2020, and we look forward to working together to rebuild our industry and grow the region with positive initiatives delivering yield and supporting jobs.

We acknowledge and thank both the local, state and federal governments for the support our organisation and the industry has received during the year.

It will certainly be a busy year for us all, and we will be kicking off with our annual breakfast event in early February.

This month we have seen exciting progress at the Saltwater Springs site for the hot water springs development with the pouring of the concrete for the reception building. We also welcomed NRMA to the region as they purchased the Cowes Caravan Park.

We know lots of you have challenges with staff and managing the COVID summer regulations, we encourage you to do your best and take care of yourselves and your teams.

Lastly we would like to thank all of you for your commitment to delivering the best visitor experiences and we look forward to delivering a range of marketing and industry development programs next year.

As always we are a phone call away,
